Fist Against Fistula

Did you know that obstetric fistula affects over 1,300 women in Ghana annually?

Since August 2018, we have financed the repair of 100 fistula patients under the Access Bank “Fist Against Fistula” campaign. The intervention, which was implemented at the Mercy Women’s Catholic Hospital in Mankessim, Central Region, has helped to improve the lives of many Ghanaian women and their families.

Together, Access Bank and its partners are supporting Ghana to reach set targets under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No.3 - Good Health, by the year 2030.

Join us on our 10for10 Fistula Walkathon, a 10 kilometre walk to raise funds and spread awareness on Obstetric Fistula, as part of our 10 year Anniversary celebrations.   It is being organised in partnership with the National Task Team for the Elimination of Obstetric Fistula, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Kaysens Gaisie Ltd and Kasapreko Company Ltd.
