Notable courses rolled out in the year included anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-bribery & corruption  ABC , ACI Dealin  Operations Certification  or treasury staff,  oody’s Advanced Credit  rainin   y Moody’s Analytics as well as other specialist training.
 e also partnered with leadin   lo al or ani ations such as Harvard Business School and Global Media Alliance to deliver the best programs for our Senior Management intended to enhance their managerial and leadership competencies.

Every year, the Bank organises its annual Country Awards ceremony to award top performing employees and teams. A total of 11 awards were presented to deservin  staff.  his served as a motivation for the award winners and challenged staff to  o the extra mile in their line o  duty.

Over the last decade the Bank has employed various en a ement pro rammes to promote staff productivity and team cohesion and among these are the Access Social Clubs initiative and yearly staff  ames which were held simultaneously across all locations. We have ensured to establish a culture that effectively encoura es per ormance culture in line with global best practice. Our employees are reco ni ed and rewarded throu h an esta lished fair and transparent performance management system to ensure they make substantial contributions to the growth of the business. All high per ormin  staff are duly reco ni ed and rewarded for their achievements.
 any o  our staff were rewarded durin  the year  or their exceptional performance and contributions to promoting the Access brand of Speed, Service and Security. A total of One Hundred and Nine (109) staff representin  19.   o  our pro essional staff were promoted.
• The annual Access Games was held bank wide at various locations during the last quarter of 2019. The aim of this event was to promote a healthy li estyle amon st staff whilst  osterin  team bonding. Activities included aerobic exercise, football matches, relay races, dancing competition, sack race, lime and spoon, amongst others.
• Instituted in 2016, the Social Clubs have undertaken various initiatives that have supported the Ban ’s o  ective o  healthy or ani ational culture. In the year under review, Access Bank Tour Club embarked on a fun tour to Treasure Island, a resort in Ada, Greater Accra. The Access Football team participated in the 2019 Bankers League in the month of May. They took the 2nd position after their final match with  ational Investment Ban .
• Our  uarterly  GI  was or ani ed across all locations  an  wide, staff were treated to  ood music and refreshments and other fun activities while bonding. The event is used to promote camaraderie and team spirit.
