David Quagraine is a technology leader with over 13 years of experience developing digital solutions across the finance, technology, and telecom sectors. He leads the Bank’s digital transformation efforts, aiming to enhance our market position through the development of an efficient and agile IT and digital ecosystem. His expertise lies in advising on modern digital-banking architectures, strategic cloud adoption, and operational efficiency to unlock secure, scalable growth.
Prior to joining Access Bank, David held several leadership roles where he delivered measurable results. He served as the Head of Solution Architecture, FinTech & Client Journeys at Stanbic Bank Ghana and as Lead Architect at Absa Bank Ghana, where he was a subject matter expert for key digital platforms such as Mobile Banking Apps. His international experience includes leading specialized cloud migration programmes for organizations in Nigeria, Europe and the United States.
David holds an MSc in Business Technology Consulting from Henley Business School, University of Reading in the United Kingdom and a BSc in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) from GIMPA in Accra. He is a certified AWS Solutions Architect , AWS Developer, and a Business Analysis Practitioner. His forward-looking approach includes integrating emerging technology such as AI into business processes, ensuring he blends deep technical knowledge with business acumen to deliver a delightful banking experience to our customers.
