Michael Gyabaah

Michael is responsible for Financial Control and Strategy formulation at Access Bank Ghana.
 
Prior to his appointment, he served as the Team Lead for Reporting, Budgeting and Performance Management in the Bank and also acted as the deputy to the Chief Financial Officer for over 5 years.
 
He has also served in various capacities within the Bank where his responsibilities have spanned from developing and implementing financial systems, strategies, processes, frameworks and controls to drive the performance of the Bank.
 
Michael started his career with KPMG Ghana as an auditor and specialized in Finance, Accounting and Business management gaining over 10 years relevant hands on experience in industries spanning Banking, Mining and Petroleum, Telecoms, Consumer Markets and Maritime.
 
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc. in Administration (Accounting Option) and an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana.  His experience and knowledge covers Banking Regulation, Financial Reporting Standards, Regulatory Compliance and Practical tax compliance.
